Helia holds a Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology and completed her postdoctoral research at MIT, focusing on advanced energy materials. With over 15 years of experience in R&D, product strategy, and innovation advisory, she helps translate cutting-edge science into real-world solutions.
She serves as a judge for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition. She is a principal mentor at C10 Labs, guiding startups through customer discovery and market strategy, deepening her ties to Boston’s innovation ecosystem.
Helia has led R&D, product development, and built partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, national labs, and academic tech transfer offices—bridging the gap between discovery and scalable innovation. Her work spans advanced materials, AI-driven manufacturing, and startup scouting for corporate innovation.
She leads a Boston-based team of subject matter experts focused on technology scouting and strategic partnerships.
